

Now DSD wasn’t as disappointing as I had thought, but isn’t as good as I hoped. I can’t forget about all of the blood and gore, there is plenty of that. The sound works with the atmosphere, but it anything special. I think it contributes to the grittiness of the film, but it could have looked sleeker. It is a mixture of Japanese anime style and like 1980s Heavy Metal animation. DSD has an interesting animation style, which I am not really sure where I stand on it.
